Benedictine Dance Selected Musco Team Sportsmanship Award Recipient

The Benedictine College competitive dance program has been selected for the Musco Team Sportsmanship Award for the sport of dance, announced by the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

The Ravens, under head coach Megan Chiles, earned the award for their display of the NAIA's Five Core Character Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship and Servant Leadership.

Teams are nominated throughout the season by Athletics Administrators, Game Officials, Coaches, Student-Athletes and Fans.

Here is what the nominators had to say about the Ravens:

"Benedictine dance continually chanted in support of its opponents throughout the season at multiple competitions. Specifically at the Heart Conference Championships, you could here them above the rest supporting their opponents in a positive manner."
