Jacob Koontz of Grand View, Selected First WinWon Men’s Basketball Player of the Week of 2024

Jacob Koontz of Grand View University earned the first WinWon Men's Basketball Player of the Week award of 2024, announced by the Heart of America Athletic Conference on Tuesday.

The junior was perfect from the floor on December 30, shooting 13-of-13 for Grand View in their 95-84 loss at No. 17 Morningside. 

Koontz scored 28 points and had six rebounds for the Vikings. He also recorded five assists and two steals.
