Harvey, Poat Selected Heart Men's Basketball Players of the Week, presented by WinWon

The Heart of America Athletic Conference Announced its Men's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, presented by WinWon on Monday.

Quentin Harvey of No. 8 ranked Baker earned the Heart Offensive Player of the Week award, while Amir Poat of Peru State was named the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.

Harvey had two 20-point performances for the Wildcats last week, including 24 points in an 84-68 win over Missouri Valley and 25 points in a win over Culver-Stockton, 94-68.

The senior shot over 60-percent in each game and hit five three-point field goals against the Vikings. Baker is now 15-1 overall and a perfect, 14-0, in Heart play.

Poat and the Bobcats went 3-0 last week, with a road win at William Penn, 77-75, as well as a road win at Benedictine, 64-52, and a home win over Missouri Valley, 77-51.

For the week, Poat recorded 20 total rebounds, two steals and seven blocks.
