Missouri Valley Sweeps Heart Golf Weekly Awards

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's and Women's Golf Weekly honors on Monday.

Missouri Valley College swept the awards, as Hanna Rieker was named the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week and Chad Coburn earned the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week award.

Coburn and the Vikings competed at the CMU Spring Invitational last week and the junior won the individual title on a playoff hole.

He shot rounds of 66 and 70 to place first out of 64 total golfers. Missouri Valley also placed first as a team.

Rieker won the CMU Spring Invitational as well last week by two strokes. With her rounds of 72 and 80. She won the event over 29 total golfers.
