Cabras, Green Selected Heart Men’s Soccer Players of the Week presented by WinWon

The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart Men's Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon, for the fourth week of the 2024 season.

Sam Green of No. 11 ranked Missouri Valley College was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Niccolo Cabras of (RV) Central Methodist garnered the Heart Defensive Player of the Week award.

Green and the Vikings went 2-0 last week with a 3-0 win over Harris-Stowe State and a 3-2 win over Mount Mercy in their Heart opener.

In the win over Mount Mercy he scored two goals and recorded an assist.

Cabras recorded two shutouts last week for CMU, with a 4-0 win over Hannibal-LaGrange and a 4-0 win over Grand View.

The sophomore had seven saves in the Heart opening win over Grand View.
