Broken School Record Leads to Heart Indoor Field Athlete of the Week Award for Taylor Bottomley

In the first installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field weekly awards, Central Methodist University's Taylor Bottomley garnered the Heart Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Bottomley broke the CMU school record in the weight throw with a mark of 20.21m at the Friends Invitational, earning him first-place out of 16 competitors.

He also placed first in the men's shot put with a throw of 16.15m, which put him above all 23 competitors.

There were no nominations for Heart Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week this week.
