MVC’s Devon Lee Earns Third Heart Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, Grand View’s Chantz Minear Selected Heart Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

In the final installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Weekly honors of the season, Missouri Valley's Devon Lee was named the Heart Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this season and Minear earned his first Heart Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week of 2022.

Lee competed at the Truman State Twilight last week and won the long jump with a mark of 6.62m, ahead of seven other athletes.

Minear won the 110m hurdles at the Grand View Viking Classic meet on April 29. His time of 14.40 won the event and that time leads the Heart and broke a Grand View school record. He also earned a NAIA National qualifying mark.
