Graceland Sweeps Heart Cross Country Runner of the Week Awards

The Graceland University cross country teams swept this week's Heart of America Athletic Conference weekly awards on Monday, as Ashlynn Perkins earned the Heart Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week award and teammate Dillon Grover was selected the Heart Men's Runner of the Week.

Perkins and the Yellowjackets competed at the Indian Hills Invitational and the senior finished in first place with a time of 19:11. She finished ahead of 49 total runners in the 5K and Graceland finished in first place as a team. 

Grover also won the Indian Hills Invitational with his time of 24:24. He raced past all 67 competitors in the 8K, as a team Graceland finished in fifth place.
