Final Musco Softball Players of the Week of 2024 Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced the final Musco Softball Players of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Haile Farris of No. 3 nationally ranked Central Methodist University earned the Softball Pitcher of the Week honor, while Haley Gedros of Culver-Stockton College was selected the Softball Player of the Week.

Gedros and the Wildcats went 4-2 last week. In those six games, the junior hit .579, going 11-of-19 from the plate.

She hit safely in all six games and had two doubles, a triple and six RBI.

Farris went 3-0 in the circle for the Eagles. She tossed three complete games and allowed just three total earned runs in 21 innings. For the week, she struck out 25 batters.

CMU is the No. 1 seed in this week's Heart Softball Conference Tournament.
