No. 6 CMU's Leianya Massenat Selected Heart Player of the Week

In the third edition of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week Award, Leianya Massenat of No. 6 ranked Central Methodist University earned the nod.

The sophomore guard had a career-high 31 points in the Eagles' 101-52 win at Graceland and shot 50-percent from three-point range on 5-of-10.

She followed that up with 21 points and nine rebounds in the nationally ranked match up against No. 5 Clarke.

On the week, the Trenton, New Jersey native averaged 26 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game.

The Eagles are now a perfect 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the Heart.
