No. 5 Benedictine Sweeps Heart Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honors

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Women's Lacrosse Weekly awards on Monday afternoon.

No. 5 nationally ranked Benedictine College again swept the honors.

For the fourth time this season, Benedictine's Kaylen Moore earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week, while teammate Chanterra Allen earned her third-straight Heart Offensive Player of the Week award.

Moore and the Ravens kept their perfect record in tact last week with a 20-5 win over Ave Maria (Fla.) and a 27-2 Heart win over UHSP.

In those two victories, Moore had 16 draw controls and added six caused turnovers and seven ground balls. Offensively, she also had nine total goals and eight assists.

Allen added to the offense with five goals against Ave Maria and eight against UHSP. The eight goals tied a career-best in a game for Allen.
