Barron of MNU, Berry of BC Capture Heart Women’s Soccer Players of the Week
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Soccer Weekly awards on Monday, as Ona Barron of MNU was named the Heart Offensive Player of the Week and Olivia Berry of Benedictine College earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.

Barron and Pionners won a pair of 7-0 victories against Heart opponents Evangel and William Penn last week.
In those games, the Igualada, Spain native scored a hat trick against Evangel and recorded a goal and assist in the win over WPU.
The Pioneers are now 10-2 overall and 7-1 in the Heart alone in second place in the standings.
Berry and the Ravens went 2-0 last week with a 2-0 home win over Baker and a 5-0 road win at Mount Mercy.
The senior earned the shutout over Baker with six saves and followed that up with one save against Mount Mercy. The Ravens are just behind MNU in the standings at 9-4 overall and 6-1 in the Heart.
