2022 Heart Women’s Soccer Conference Tournament
The Heart of America Athletic Conference is excited to announce the field for the 2022 Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Conference Tournament, as eight squads from across the conference have qualified for the event.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference hosted an exciting 2022 Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Conference Tournament, as eight squads from across the conference qualified for the event.
The Heart Quarterfinals began on Friday, November 4 at three different campus sites, winners of those matches moved onto the Heart Semifinals on Tuesday, November 8. The Tournament concludes on Friday, November 11 with the championship match. No. 1 CMU then hosted No. 3 MidAmerica Nazarene on Friday, November 11 at 5 pm.
The Eagles captured its fourth-straight Heart Conference Tournament Championship with a 1-0 win over MNU.
The No. 1 CMU vs No. 8 Park Quarterfinal match up was moved to Saturday, November 5 at 11 am in Fayette, Mo., due to weather conditions.
The No. 5 Clarke at No. 4 Benedictine matchup was also moved to Saturday, November 5 at 11 am in Atchison, Kan.
The Central Methodist Eagles captured the 2022 Heart regular season championship, with its 15-2-1 overall record and 11-0-1 conference mark. The Eagles have now won four-straight Heart regular season championships.
CMU has also won the last three Heart Conference Tournament Championships, 2019, 2020 and 2021. Prior to that, Benedictine won five-straight, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014.
