No. 4 Central Methodist Sweeps WinWon Women’s Soccer Player of the Week Awards

No. 4 nationally ranked Central Methodist University swept this week's WinWon Women's Soccer Player of the Week awards, announced by the Heart of America Athletic Conference on Monday.

Teammates Mariana Barreto and Candela Blanco Esteban earned the Conference Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards respectively.

Barreto is a freshman from Valencia, Venezuela and recorded her second hat trick of the season in the Eagles' 3-1 road win at Park University on Saturday. She scored he three goals on five shots on goal against the Pirates.

Blanco Esteban is also a freshman and is from Avila, Spain. The goalkeeper recorded six saves in the road win at Park on Saturday.
