Curtis, Ondobo Selected for Heart Women's Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Honors
The Heart of America Athletic Conference Announced its Heart Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Diane Ondobo of Central Methodist was selected the Heart Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, while Rosjai Curtis of Park University captured the Heart Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week award.
Ondobo won the women's 400m race at the Miner Invitational last week with her time of 55.75.
The junior hit the NAIA 'B' Standard of qualification for the NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
Curtis hit the NAIA 'A' Standard of qualification for the NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in the long jump with her jump of 5.90m.
She placed first in the long jump at the Spire Open and placed second overall in the triple jump, hitting the NAIA 'B' standard in that event.
