2022 Heart Women’s Volleyball Conference Tournament

The Heart of America Athletic Conference hosted an exciting 2022 Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Conference Tournament, as eight squads from across the conference qualified for the event.

The Heart Quarterfinals were played on Saturday, November 5 at four different campus sites, winners of those matches moved onto the Heart Semifinals on Tuesday, November 8. The Tournament concluded on Saturday, November 12 with the championship match, as No. 1 MNU hosted No. 2 Park. The Pioneers defeated Park, 3-2, to earn their first Heart Conference Tournament title since 2015.

The MidAmerica Nazarene Pioneers and Park Pirates captured the 2022 Heart regular season Co-Championship. The two squads each finished with an 18-1 regular season record.

MNU defeated Park in three-sets back on September 27 in Olathe, Kansas, 25-20, 25-20, 31-29.

Park then defeated the Pioneers in five-sets on November 1 in Parkville, Missouri, 25-21, 30-28, 27-29, 21-25, 15-11.

This marks the first Heart regular season championship for MNU since 2016. And is the sixth Heart title for the Pioneers (2022, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012).

Park has now won three-straight Heart regular season championships, (2020, 2021, 2022).

Park is the two-time defending Heart Conference Tournament Champions, as they won the last two conference tournaments over Central Methodist in 2021 and 2020.
