Daryna Bachkarova, Women's Basketball - Player of the Week (CMU)

For the second time in 2022-23, No. 2 nationally ranked Central Methodist University's Daryna Bachkarova has been selected the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

She last won the award on November 21. This past week, the Eagles kept their perfect record in tact with a home win over Benedictine, 92-52 and a victory over Missouri Valley, 83-48.

Bachkarova scored 27 points against Missouri Valley and eclipsed the 1,000 career point mark at CMU in the victory.

For the week, the Minsk, Belarus product averaged 23.5 points per game and shot a stifling, 65.4-percent from the floor on 17-of-26 shooting.

She also shot 61.1-percent from three-point range on 11-of-18.

The Eagles are now 21-0 overall and 15-0 in the Heart.
