Central Methodist’s Everett Stubblefield Selected Heart Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

Everett Stubblefield of Central Methodist University earned his first Heart Men's Basketball Player of the Week award, announced on Monday by the conference office.

Stubblefield had a career-high game scoring against Baker with his 34 points and added five rebounds and two steals.

In that game, the Chicago, Ill., native shot 13-of-18 from the floor, good for 72.2-percent and was a perfect, 5-for-5 from the free-throw line.

In three games last week, Stubblefield averaged 19.0 points per game and shot, 61.1-percent from the floor.
