Heart Men’s Volleyball Players of the Week – March 21, 2022

A pair of repeat winners and a first-time winner in 2022 highlight this week's Heart of America Athletic Conference Weekly awards, as Lucas Rebula of Mount Mercy was selected for his third Heart Attacker of the Week honor, Connor Muff of William Penn earned his second Heart Setter of the Week honor and Scott Buros of Mount Mercy is the Heart Defender of the Week.

Rebula was also named the Heart Attacker of the Week on January 31 and January 24. This past week, the freshman had double-digit kills in each of the Mustangs' victories, as he recorded 12 in the win over Culver-Stockton and 20 in the victory over Missouri Valley. For the week he averaged 4.57 kills per set and had 20 total digs.

Muff was also the Heart Setter of the Week back on January 31. Last week, the Statesmen went 3-0, with all three matches ending in a 3-0 victory for WPU.

Muff supplied his squad with 109 assists and averaged 12.11 assists per set. He also had seven kills and nine total digs.

Buros earned his first Heart Defender of the Week award of 2022, after helping lead the Mustangs to wins over Culver-Stockton and Missouri Valley.

He tallied 13 total blocks on the week and 15 kills. He had eight blocks in the win over Culver-Stockton and five against Missouri Valley.
