Missouri Valley’s Giavanna Moore Earns First Heart Women’s Basketball Player of the Week of 2022-23

In the first Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week Award of the 2022-23 season, Missouri Valley College's Giavanna Moore was selected for the honor. 

The 2021-22 Heart Freshman of the Year, averaged 22 points per game in three victories for the Vikings.

Missouri Valley defeated Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.), 89-57, Baptist Bible (Mo.), 95-52, and Kansas Wesleyan, 86-59, last week.

He top game of the week game against Kansas Wesleyan, when the sophomore scored 30 points on 13-of-20 shooting.

The Independence, Missouri native averaged 5 assists per game and 4.7 rebounds per game, and shot 56.5-percent from the floor on the week.
