2022 Heart Women’s Wrestling All-Conference and Major Award Winners Announced
After the conclusion of the 2022 Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Wrestling Championship on Saturday, the Heart handed out the 2022 postseason awards and All-Conference award winners.

2022 Heart Coach of the Year – Angelo Crinzi – Grand View University
Coach Crinzi helped lead the Vikings to their second-straight Heart Championship on February 26. The Vikings took home five, first-place finishes at the championship and are ranked No. 2 in the NAIA.
2022 Heart Assistant Coach of the Year – Addie Lanning – Baker University
Baker University's Addie Lanning was named the Heart Assistant Coach of the Year. Her along with head coach Cody Garcia, helped lead the Wildcats to two first-place finishes at the Heart Championship and Wildcats Kaylynn Albrecht and Nichole Moore were selected Heart Newcomer and Wrestler of the Year respectively.
2022 Heart Freshman of the Year – Abby McIntyre – Grand View University
Grand View's Abby McIntyre took home first-place in the 170-pound bracket at Saturday's Heart Championship. She is also the No. 1 ranked wrestler in the NAIA at 170-pounds.
2022 Heart Newcomer of the Year – Kaylynn Albrecht – Baker University
Baker's top 155-pound wrestler, Kaylynn Albrecht took home this years Heart Women's Wrestling Newcomer of the Year honor. She is currently ranked No. 4 in the NAIA in 155-pounds.
2022 Heart Conference Tournament Outstanding Wrestler – Emma Cochran – Grand View University
Emma Cochran of Grand View won the 101-pound Heart Championship over the weekend, with a Fall in 4:50 over Iowa Wesleyan's Alaina Sunlin. Cochran is currently ranked No. 8 in the NAIA in 101-pounds
2022 Heart Women's Wrestler of the Year – Nichole Moore – Baker University
Nichole Moore is the No. 1 ranked wrestler in the NAIA in 123-pounds. On her home mat at the Heart Championships, Moore won the 123-pound bracket with a 9-2 decision over Grand View's Adrienna Turner.
The 2022 Heart Women's Wrestling All-Conference team is based on results in each weight class from the Heart Conference Championship, a 1st Place finish = First Team All-Conference, 2nd Place = Second Team All-Conference and 3rd Place finish = Third Team All-Conference.
