Jackson Perkins Selected Heart Men’s Wrestler of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Men's Wrestler of the Week award, presented by Musco on Monday afternoon.

Jackson Perkins of Benedictine College earned the award after a terrific week for the Ravens.

The freshman defeated No. 1 Grand View's Lucas Hageman in the 184-pound bout of the dual between Grand View and Benedictine, in a 14-8 decision.

He then won by Tech Fall, 15-0, over Tanner Fuller of Iowa Western Community College, in the 184-pound championship bought of the Conner/Oppenheim Open hosted by Doane.

For the week, he went 7-0.
