The Heart of America Athletic Conference completed the 2022 Heart Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, February 19, and the Heart is now pleased to announce its Women’s Indoor Track & Field Postseason awards.
For the first time in the history of the Central Methodist Track & Field program, the Eagles won the 2022 Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track & Field championship on Saturday.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference is set to host the 2022 Heart Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championship on Friday, February 18 and Saturday, February 19 at the Hughes Fieldhouse in Maryville, Missouri, on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University.
A pair of Park University Pirates swept this week’s Heart of America Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field weekly honors, as Lisha McKenzie was named the Heart Track Athlete of the Week and Bailey Turner earned the Heart Field Athlete of the Week award.
A pair of repeat winners highlight this week’s Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards, as Andrea Ertz of Mount Mercy won her second-straight Heart Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor, while Grand View’s Madison Green earned her second Heart Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week of 2022.
