Two First Time Winners in 2023 Highlight Heart Baseball Players of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Baseball Players of the Week on Monday.

Drew Conn of Grand View won the Heart Pitcher of the Week award, while Dax Floweree of Culver-Stockton College earned the Heart Player of the Week.

In seven games last week, Floweree hit .462, going 12-of-26 with five home runs and a double. The senior also had 21 runs batted in. In a 27-5 victory over Graceland, he had two grand slams and 11 RBI.

In a 4-1 win over Culver-Stockton, Conn threw 6.1 inning and had 10 strikeouts and allowed just one earned run and six hits. He is now 8-0 on the season.
