2023 Heart Baseball Conference Tournament
The 2023 Heart of America Athletic Conference Baseball Conference Tournament returned to a familiar place this week, as the event took place May 4-9 at US Baseball Park in Ozark, Mo., for the sixth time.
The eight-team field featured, the top four teams from the Heart North and South Divisions.
Central Methodist earned the No. 1 overall seed, as they won the 2023 Heart Baseball regular season championship out-right. This marks their fifth Heart regular season title.
The No. 2 seed went to Clarke University for capturing the Heart North crown. Then the remaining six teams were re-seeded based on their overall conference winning percentage.
No. 3 Grand View University defeated No. 5 MidAmerica Nazarene, 11-5, to capture their first-ever Heart Baseball Conference Tournament Championship. The Vikings have earned an automatic bid to the 2023 NAIA National Championship Opening Round.
As the Tournament Runner-Up, MidAmerica Nazarene has also earned a trip to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.
