Duncan, Karlin Selected Heart Baseball Players of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Baseball Players of the Week, presented by BoxOut on Monday afternoon.

Camden Karlin of Baker University was selected the Heart Player of the Week, while Tanner Duncan of Missouri Valley earned the Pitcher of the Week honors.

Karlin and the Wildcats went 5-1 last week, including a 4-0 sweep over Heart rival Peru State.

The senior went 11-for-18 at the plate, good for a batting average of .611. He had seven extra base hits with four doubles, two home runs and a triple.

Duncan and the Vikings also had a 4-0 Heart sweep last week, as they swept Benedictine. The junior threw a complete game, four-hit shutout in the opening game of the series.
