2022 Heart of America Athletic Conference Competitive Cheer Championship Preview
The Heart of America Athletic Conference will host the 2022 Heart Competitive Cheer Championship this Saturday, February 19 at the Burns Athletic Center on the campus of Missouri Valley College.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference will host the 2022 Heart Competitive Cheer Championship this Saturday, February 19 at the Burns Athletic Center on the campus of Missouri Valley College.
Tickets for the event are $8 for adults, $2 for students and children under the age of 6 will be admitted for Free. There will be no limit on spectators and face masks are recommended but not required to be worn.
The following teams will be competing at the event, Baker, Benedictine, Graceland, Grand View, MidAmerica Nazarene, Missouri Valley, Mount Mercy and Peru State.
Missouri Valley is the five-time defending Heart Competitive Cheer Champions, and won the 2021 event with 88.83 points, narrowly defeating MidAmerica Nazarene, who finished with 83.50 points. Missouri Valley also won the 2018 NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship.
The 2022 Heart Competitive Cheer Championship will also serve as a NAIA Regional Championship. The winner of the event will automatically qualify for the 6th Annual NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship in Ypsilanti, Michigan, March 11-12, 2022.
