Eva Garrett of MidAmerica Nazarene Garners Heart Cheerleader of the Week

In the second edition of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Cheerleader of the Week award, Eva Garrett of MidAmerica Nazarene University earned the award.

Garrett, a native of Olathe, Kansas, and the Pioneers hosted a triangular against fellow Heart team's Missouri Valley and Benedictine College.

The Pioneers finished in first-place overall with a score of 87.7.

Garrett and her teammates will next host the MNU Invitational on Friday, February 10 at 6 pm.

In order to nominate a cheerleader for the Heart Cheerleader of the Week, the Heart competitive cheer team that earns the highest score during a competition for the week of Jan. 30-Feb. 5 is eligible for the Heart Cheerleader of the Week award.

The team with the highest score will select one cheerleader from their team and that cheerleader will garner the award.
