2023 Heart of America Athletic Conference Competitive Cheer Championship Preview
The Heart of America Athletic Conference is excited to host the 2023 Heart Competitive Cheer Championship this Saturday, February 18 at the Burns Athletic Center on the campus of Missouri Valley College.
Tickets for the event are $8 for adults, $2 for students and children under the age of 6 will be admitted for Free.
The following teams will be competing at the event, Baker, Benedictine, Graceland, Grand View, MidAmerica Nazarene, Missouri Valley, Mount Mercy, Peru State and William Penn.
Missouri Valley is the six-time defending Heart Competitive Cheer Champions, and won the 2022 event with 92.65 points.
The 2023 Heart Competitive Cheer Championship will also serve as a NAIA Regional Championship. The winner of the event will automatically qualify for the 7th Annual NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship in Ypsilanti, Michigan, March 10-11, 2023.
The 2023 Heart Competitive Cheer Championship will coincide with the 2023 Heart Competitive Dance Championship. For a look at the events schedule, please see below.

The All-Conference team's will also be announced and will be grouped into First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-Conference for the first time.
Athletes submitted a video tryout for consideration for All-Conference and the award winners will be announced at the Conference Championship.
For the first time the conference will award a 2023 Heart Competitive Cheerleader of the Year and will hand announce the annual 2023 Heart Competitive Cheer Coach of the Year award.
The Cheerleader with the highest score based on the All-Conference tryout, will be awarded the Heart Cheerleader of the Year.
