2023 Heart of America Athletic Conference Competitive Dance Championship Preview
The Heart of America Athletic Conference is excited to host the 2023 Heart Competitive Dance Championship this Saturday, February 18 at the Burns Athletic Center on the campus of Missouri Valley College.
Tickets for the event are $8 for adults, $2 for students and children under the age of 6 will be admitted for Free.
The following teams will be competing at the event, Baker, Benedictine, Graceland, Grand View, Missouri Valley, Mount Mercy, Peru State and William Penn.
Baker is the defending Heart Competitive Dance Champions and won the 2022 event with 92.08 points. They also won the Heart title in 2020.
The 2023 Heart Competitive Dance Championship will coincide with the 2023 Heart Competitive Cheer Championship. For a look at the events schedule, please see below.

The All-Conference team's will also be announced and will be grouped into First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-Conference for the first time.
Athletes submitted a video tryout for consideration for All-Conference and the award winners will be announced at the Conference Championship.
For the first time the conference will award a 2023 Heart Competitive Dancer of the Year and will announce the annual 2023 Heart Competitive Dance Coach of the Year award.
The Dancer with the highest score based on the All-Conference tryout, will be awarded the Heart Dancer of the Year.
