Grand View Wins 2024 Heart Competitive Dance Conference Championship
For the first time since 2021, the Grand View University Vikings have captured the Heart of America Athletic Conference Competitive Dance Conference Championship!
The Vikings earned 85.49 points to capture the title. The event took place on the campus of Baker University, inside the Collins Center.
Benedictine placed second with 82.55 points, while Baker placed third with 82.03.
Grand View has now won three Heart Competitive Dance Championships in its history, 2019, 2021 and 2024.
The Heart also awarded the Heart Competitive Dancer of the Year award. Dancers from across the conference submitted an All-Conference tryout video, which was judged by the official 2024 Heart Competitive Dance Conference Championship judges.
The dancer with the highest score from the tryout, earned Heart Dancer of the Year. The scores also determined the 2024 Heart Competitive Dance First, Second and Honorable Mention Team All-Conference award winners.
