Grand View's Sinay Diaz Earns Heart Dancer of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Dancer of the Week award on Monday afternoon.

Grand View's Sinay Diaz earned the honor after the Vikings' dual victory over Concordia (Neb.). Grand View earned 90.1 points in the victory, while the Bulldogs scored 76.85.

Diaz is a senior from Sioux Center, Iowa.

In order to nominate a dancer for the Heart Dancer of the Week award, the Heart competitive dance team that earns the highest score during a competition for the week of Feb. 3-9 is eligible for the Heart Dancer of the Week award.

The team with the highest score will select one dancer from their team and that dancer will garner the award.
