Heart Announces First-Ever Esports Rocket League All-Conference Selections
The Heart of America Athletic Conference made history on Thursday, as the conference announced its first-ever Esports Rocket League All-Conference selections and Conference Player of the Year.
Koen Barnett of Park University has been selected the Heart Esports Rocket League Player of the Year.
Barnett and the Pirates went a perfect, 7-0, in the Heart rocket league regular season. In 27 best-of-three games played, the Pirates went 21-6.
Park will host the first-ever 2024 Heart Esports Rocket League Conference Tournament on Saturday, April 6 on its Parkville, MO campus.
The tournament will feature the top four teams from the regular season, No. 1 Park, No. 2 Central Methodist, No. 3 Missouri Valley and No. 4 St. Ambrose.
The Heart semifinals will feature No. 1 Park vs No. 4 SAU at 12 pm, then the other Heart semifinals will take place at 1 pm between No. 2 CMU and No. 3 MVC. The Heart Championship to occur at 2 pm.
