Benedictine, Grand View Selected to Win Heart South and North Titles in 2023 Football Coaches’ Preseason Polls
The Heart of America Athletic Conference football coaches selected their 2023 Heart North and South Preseason Coaches' Polls this week, as Grand View and Benedictine were picked to top the Heart North and South Divisions respectively.
Grand View advanced to the NAIA-Football Championship Series Semifinals last season.
The Vikings went 13-1 overall and a perfect 5-0 in Heart North play, capturing their fourth-straight Heart title and seventh in the last eight seasons.

The Benedictine Ravens are on top of the Heart South Coaches' Preseason Poll, the Ravens went 11-2 last season and a perfect 5-0 in Heart South play.
The Ravens advanced to the NAIA-Football Championship Series Quarterfinals last season.
This also marks the first year Missouri Baptist joins the Heart in the sport of football. They will compete in the Heart South Division.
The 2023 Heart Football Media Day will take place on Monday, August 7, as all 12 head coaches and select student-athletes will be featured on Zoom interviews.
Each head coach and student-athletes will preview their team with their University Sports Information Directors and local media members throughout the day.
