Dooley, Plumber, Reid Selected Big Game Football Players of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce this week's Big Game Football Players of the Week.

Quarterback Jackson Dooley of No. 7 ranked Benedictine College was selected the Big Game Offensive Player of the Week, while linebacker Harlan Plumber of William Penn earned the Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors and punter Odaine Reid of Missouri Baptist earned the Special Team's Player of the Week award.

Dooley and the Ravens had a fantastic game against Clarke University, as BC defeated the Pride, 63-14.

The Lawrence, Kansas product threw for five touchdowns, all in the first half, one shy of tying the Benedictine program record.

The sophomore went 13-of-17 for 304 yards and had a long of 63 yards.

Harlan and the Statesmen defeated Missouri Baptist, 6-2, last Saturday in a strong defensive effort by both teams.

The senior collected 10 tackles in the victory and had one sack for 13 yards. He finished the contest with two tackles for loss and one pass breakup.

Reid attempted nine punts for the Spartans and averaged 46.3 yards per punt. He had a career-long punt of 75-yards, to pin William Penn to their own 4-yard line. Five of his nine puts were inside the 20-yard line.
