Big Game Football Players of the Week Announced - October 30

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Big Game Football Player of the Week award winners on Monday.

Cade Ross of Graceland was selected the Conference Offensive Player of the Week, while Harlan Plumber of William Penn earned the Conference Defensive Player of the Week and Cullen Bruner of No. 14 ranked Benedictine is the Conference Special Teams Player of the Week award winner.

Ross and the Yellowjackets defeated Clarke University, 49-7, last Saturday. The sophomore threw for 289 yards and six touchdowns in the victory and led Graceland in rushing with 45 yards.

Bruner and the Ravens picked up a big road victory at No. 21 ranked Baker last Saturday, 30-6. In the victory, the senior had three punts for an average of 49.7 yards. Two were downed inside the 20-yard line.

Plumber had 12 tackles and two forced fumbles in the Statesmen's, 37-16, road win at Culver-Stockton last week.
