Ed Wright Earns Final Heart Men’s Basketball Player of the Week Award of 2022-23

Ed Wright of MidAmerica Nazarene University, has been selected the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his stellar week for the Pioneers.

Wright and MNU earned two wins last week, a 99-97 overtime win over Evangel and an 88-78 win over Graceland.

On the week, Wright averaged 28.5 points and shot 60.0-percent from the floor on 18-of-30 shooting. He scored 32 against Evangel and 25 against Graceland.

The Pioneers enter Thursday's Heart Conference Tournament as the No. 5 seed and will travel to No. 4 Baker on Thursday at 7 pm.
