Ed Wright of No. 17 MidAmerica Nazarene Selected for First WinWon Men’s Basketball Player of the Week of the 2023-24 Season

The Heart of America Athletic Conference unveiled its first WinWon Men's Basketball Player of the Week award of the 2023-24 season on Monday.

Ed Wright earned the award after his impressive performance in the Pioneers' season opening win over Bethel (Kan.), 101-95.

Wright scored 34 points in the victory, on 14-of-22 shooting, for a shooting percentage of 63.6-percent.

The junior also had three rebounds and three assists and knocked down four, three-point field goals.
