Peru State’s Wingett Jr. Selected WinWon Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

Peru State College improved to 5-1 last week with impressive performances by senior David Wingett Jr. For his efforts, he was selected the WinWon Men's Basketball Player of the Week. 

The senior averaged 23 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in two Heart games last week.

The Bobcats lost on the road at Park, 82-66, before defeating Mount Mercy at home, 91-46.

Wingett shot 62.1-percent from the floor on the week, going 18-of-29 and shot 54.5-percent from three-point range. He also averaged 3.5 assists per game.
