Anthony Brown of (RV) MidAmerica Nazarene Secures Back-to-Back WinWon Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

Anthony Brown of (RV) MidAmerica Nazarene University has been selected the WinWon Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the second-straight week, announced by the Heart of America Athletic Conference on Monday.

The senior from Olathe, Kan., led the Pioneers to two road conference victories over William Penn University, 108-72, and Clarke University, 73-70.

For the week, Brown averaged 25 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. He also shot 63.2-percent from the floor on 12-of-19. He scored 28 against the Statesmen and 22 against the Pride. For the week, he was nearly perfect from the free-throw line, shooting, 12-of-13.

This is the third Winwon Player of the Week award of the season for Brown, previously earning the award on January 8 and January 22.
