First WinWon Men’s Basketball Player of the Week Awards of 2025 Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its first Heart Men's Basketball Player of the Week awards of 2025, announced by WinWon on Monday afternoon.

Bol Tong of Central Methodist University was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Devin Tomlinson of Peru State College earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Tong recorded a double-double with a game-high 22 points and 11 rebounds in an 80-78 road win at Mount Mercy. The senior hit a game-winning three with 11 seconds remaining in the game.

Tomlinson averaged 9.5 rebounds per game for the Bobcats in a pair of Heart wins last week. An 81-74 home win over Mount Mercy and an 82-78 road win at Clarke.

The senior had 10 defensive rebounds in the win over Mount Mercy, along with one block and one steal. In the win over Clarke, he had four steals and a block.
