Heart Men's Basketball Players of the Week Announced - February 3

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Men's Basketball Players of the Week, presented by WinWon on Monday afternoon.

Connor Davis of Culver-Stockton College was selected the Heart Men's Offensive Player of the Week, while Chris Peoples of Peru State earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Davis scored an impressive 41 points in the Wildcats' 90-79 road win at William Penn on January 29.

For the week, the junior averaged 31.5 points per game, along with 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

In two victories last week for the Bobcats, including a 73-63 home win over No. 6 ranked Baker and a 106-90 home win over William Penn, Peoples grabbed 15 total defensive rebounds and collected five total steals.

The senior had nine rebounds and three steals against the sixth-ranked Wildcats.
