2023 Heart Men's and Women's Bowling Conference Championships Preview
The 2023 Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Bowling Conference Championship will take place this Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26 at Statesmen Lanes in Oskaloosa, Iowa, hosted by William Penn University.
The event will begin on Saturday at 8 am.

Admission is $8 for general admission and a 2-day pass is $15.
No outside food or water will be allowed into the bowling center and no ladders or step stools will be admitted into the building. Sunday's competition will begin at 8:15 am.
A Senior Recognition and Heart All-Conference awards will be handed out at 7:30 AM on Sunday, prior to the beginning of competition.
The Statesmen Lanes are located at: 1700 A Ave. E Oskaloosa, Iowa, 52577
The following men's teams will be competing: Baker, Clarke, Culver-Stockton, Grand View, Missouri Valley, Peru State and William Penn.
The following women's teams will be competing: Baker, Clarke, Culver-Stockton, Grand View, Peru State and William Penn.
The conference will hand out some hardware on Sunday morning before the Championship round begins. The following awards will be awarded:
Heart Men's Coach of the Year, Heart Men's Player of the Year, Heart Men's Newcomer of the Year, as well as Heart Women's Coach of the Year, Heart Women's Player of the Year and Heart Women's Newcomer of the Year. The 2023 Heart Men's and Women's Bowling First and Second Team All-Conference teams will be awarded as well.
Day one of the event will feature 24 Baker games which will determine seeding. Once seeding is determined, the tournament will feature the first round of Best-of-7 double elimination bracket.
The Top two teams will receive a Bye. Day two on Sunday will continue with the double elimination bracket until the Conference Tournament Champion is declared.
Grand View is the defending Heart Men's Bowling Conference Tournament Champions, as they won the 2022 event, while Baker women's bowling is the three-time defending Heart Women's Bowling Conference Champions.
