Heart Men’s & Women’s Golfers of the Week – April 4, 2022
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men’s and Women’s Golfer of the Week awards on Monday, as Park University’s Laetitia Solombrino was named the Heart Women’s Golfer of the Week and Matias Baccola of Central Methodist University is the Heart Men’s Golfer of the Week.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week awards on Monday, as Park University's Laetitia Solombrino was named the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week and Matias Baccola of Central Methodist University is the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week.
Solombrino, who also won this award back on October 25, placed second at the William Woods Spring Invite last week with her rounds of 76 and 75. She competed in a field of 39 total golfers.
The Pirates placed fourth as a team at the event.
Baccola and the Eagles also competed at the William Woods Tournament and the La Falda, Argentina native placed fourth overall with his rounds of 75 and 71. The field included 68 total golfers. CMU took home second place as a team.
