The Central Methodist University men’s golf team won the 2022 Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship on Tuesday afternoon, as they won the event by 11 strokes over second place Mount Mercy University.
The Central Methodist University men's golf team won the 2022 Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship on Tuesday afternoon, as they won the event by 11 strokes over second place Mount Mercy University.
This marks the second Heart Men's golf championship for the Eagles in their program's history, as they last won the event in 2013.
The event took place at The Golf Club at Creekmoor in Raymore, Mo., for the second-straight year.
CMU's Matias Baccola won the individual title with rounds of 72, 68, 66 to finish -10 below par.
The Eagles have now qualified for the NAIA Men's Golf National Championships, May 17-20, at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.
