Heart Golfers of the Week – September 26

In the third edition of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week awards, Spencer Tucker of William Penn University earned his second-straight Heart Men's Golfer of the Week award, while Katelyn Swope of Evangel was selected the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week.

Swope had a career day for the Valor at the Drury Invitational. She shot her lowest score on day one, 74 and followed that up with a 76 on day two.

The senior finished tied for second place, one stroke behind the eventual winner from NCAA Division II, Illinois-Springfield. The tournament consisted of 89 total golfers and 15 teams.

Tucker won his second-straight individual title, as he posted a 71 at the Simpson Invitational. He placed ahead of all 52 competitors.
