Franco of WPU, Nunya of Park Earn Final Heart Golfers of the Week of Fall Season

In the final edition of the Heart Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week awards of the 2022 fall season, Gabriana Franco of William Penn earned the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week honors, while Cholnan Nunya of Park is the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week.

Franco also won this honor back on September 19.

In last week's Heart Preview, the freshman took home first place ahead of 67 other golfers with her rounds of 74 and 78. The Statesmen finished in first place as a team, over 11 total teams.

Nunya won the Heart Conference Fall Preview, with a four under performance, with rounds of 72 and 68, as he finished ahead of a field of 70 golfers.

The Pirates also won the team title. The Thailand native was also just two strokes off the 36-hole program record.
