Park’s Solombrino, Missouri Valley’s Quiroga Earn Heart Golfers of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's and Women's Golfers of the Week on Monday afternoon, as Mateo Quiroga earned his first Heart Men's Golfer of the Week award of the season, while Laetitia Solombrino of Park earned her fourth of the 2022-23 season.

Quiroga finished second out of 110 total golfers at the Oakwood Intercollegiate Tournament last week, with his rounds of 76 and 72. The freshman finished just three strokes behind first-place. The event featured 19 teams.

Solombrino won the Graceland Spring Invitational last week with her first place finish rounds of 79 and 77. The Pirates placed second as a team, out of 10 teams competing. The senior finished 12 strokes over par and won the event that featured 56 total golfers.
