Tovkach, Quiroga Selected Heart Golfers of the Week

For the second-straight week, Missouri Valley College's Mateo Quiroga has been selected the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week, while Mia Tovkach of Baker earned her first Heart Women's Golfer of the Week award of the Spring season, announced on Monday.

Quiroga and the Vikings participated in the William Woods Spring Invite last week and the freshman won the tournament with his impressive rounds of 65 and 70.

His 65 was  -7 under par and the lowest round of the tournament, which featured a total of 89 golfers.

Tovkach won the William Woods Spring Invite women's tournament, as she fired rounds of 76 and 76 to take home first-place, ahead of 79 total golfers. She won the event by just one stroke.
