Heart Men’s & Women’s Golfers of the Week – April 17

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's and Women's Golfers of the Week on Monday, as Evangel's Katelyn Swope was selected the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week and Mateo Quiroga of Missouri Valley earned his third Heart Men's Golfer of the Week of the spring season.

Swope won the Missouri Valley Spring Invite with her rounds of 79, 75 and 81. She won the event that featured 33 golfers and six teams.

She shot the lowest round of the tournament with her 75. 

Quiroga won his home event, the Missouri Valley Spring Invite with rounds of 72, 67 and 65. He placed first ahead of all 55 golfers. 

He finished the tournament -12 and his 65 was the lowest round of any golfer at the event.
